Really, what could string ever do to someone to bring out such fear? Rope can be used for hanging. Rope can get you dirty if you’re playing tug of war or cause a superficial burn on the skin. Learning can only make things worse. For these folks, ignorance really is bliss. I wish i could have used this one as an excuse to cut class.

Unfortunately this phobia is not common to single hot athletic women. Instead, it's common to dumpy, potato-shaped, middle-aged men. How sad?

OK, shouldn’t this be one of the easiest phobias to manage, unless you’re a dog? You can avoid arachibutyrophobia completely. I suggest you start by not ingesting peanut butter.
